Located in Westminster, MD, we encourage and support learning and creative growth in quilt-making and fiber arts. Join us for friendship, fun, and community service.
In 1985, a few friends started gathering together at their houses to sew and quilt together. From these early gatherings, Everybody's Quilt Guild was founded.
We aim to help others in our community and expand creativity through the art of quilt making. Everybody's Quilt Guild is a warm and friendly group of quilters, new and experienced, that gather together for monthly sew-a-longs, guild activities, and events to support local philanthropic organizations, like Project Linus, Veterans Quilts, Comfort pillows, and more.
Our mission: Create and stimulate interest in all matters pertaining to the making, collecting, and preserving of quilts through the establishment and promotion of educational and philanthropic endeavors. We're dedicated to promoting the art and history of quilting by sharing both traditional and new ideas through fellowship, lectures, and workshops.
All are welcome.
In case of bad weather, follow the Carroll County Public Schools closing policy. If school is closed or there's early dismissal due to weather, the guild event will be cancelled or postponed.
